I wanted to bottle this moment and keep it forever - i know i can't write exactly how it felt, but maybe if I write what happened, that will be enough.
Jason and i were trying to get to sleep and I had the CD that mom got for Madeline playing. It was on Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and Madeline had just moved a little bit. Jason had his hand on my tummy and it was just us, our family. and i felt like it was really a family. It was really beautiful and i want to feel that feeling forever, but it's already fading...

I'm in love!
With my Madeline!
I love feeling her move, and thinking about our future together. It's so exciting!
Of course I know when she comes i'll be overwhelmed and tired, but i know it will be wonderful, even so.

And so it begins
I've decided to start a blog. (We can see that, Jen.)
I have a lot going on right now. I am still in that early part of a career where you decide what you really want. I am expecting my first child, a girl to be named Madeline. I have a great husband, Jason and an African Grey parrot named Norman. I want to use cloth diapers, and I expect I will be writing a lot about that. I think a lot about our personal finances, and try to live on a budget.
I am hoping it will be pretty interesting.
